Dr. Ayo K. Gomih

Dr. Ayo K. Gomih is a board certified urologist. He has been practicing since 1984 from his location, where he serves clients throughout Northwest Indiana and Chicagoland. He has been cited by several local newspapers as an authority in the field of urology. In addition to various appearances on television designed to educate the public on topics varying from prostate cancer, impotence, and general health matters, Dr. Gomih has also delivered several lectures on various urological topics.

He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada, and he is certified by the American Board of Quality Assurance and Utilization Review Physicians. He is a member of the American Urologic Association and Chicago Urological Society. He has also served on various local and national peer review boards.

Dr. Gomih is on staff at the Methodist Hospitals, and Methodist CareFirst Merrillville.

As a urologist, Dr. Gomih is highly trained to treat disorders of the male and female urinary tract (bladder, ureter, kidney and urethra) and the male reproductive system. Urology is classified as a surgical subspecialty, but since a wide variety of clinical problems are encountered when treating urological conditions, knowledge of internal medicine, pediatrics, gynecology, and other specialties is required.
